Hi everyone! And here we are at the final round of backer feedback. Thanks to all of you who took the time and effort to look at the Transcendence adventure book and give us feedback on it. We'll be going through all that in the next week or so before we finalize all our files for sending to the printer. Speaking of that, we are well-on schedule for that plan. Most of the print files are actually already ready. The final touches will be made to the two books to ensure they agree with one another and that all the cards do the same. We have very little left to do before we send everything to the printer and the long wait for production begins. As you might imagine we're VERY excited to get this done as it marks a huge milestone in the project. 

I know I'm a broken record, but if you haven't completed your survey yet, PLEASE complete it now. We'll be closing surveys to order changes in a couple weeks from now. Those who have NOT filled out their surveys will not get the final digital rewards via Backerkit's digital reward system, and we will be unable to ship physical rewards to those who haven't completed their surveys because we won't have addresses to send them to. 

Remember also that shipping for physical products will be charged later, once we are close to actually shipping the product to you.

Shortly after we close surveys we'll be charging credit cards for any add-ons you may have elected to purchase in your survey, and for anyone who pre-ordered. We'll send another update before we charge cards, but just be aware, that time is coming soon!

Those of you who originally backed the campaign at any pledge tier other than the $1 level will receive an email from DriveThruRPG either today or tomorrow, so you can add the core card set to your library. These digital only cards include Adversary Cards, Edge Cards, Status Cards, and Power Cards. It's a big package with LOTS of cards you can print as needed for your table. We think they look great and are excited to show them to you. As part of the pacakge, you'll also receive a printable "cheat sheet" that helps explain trappings and new modifiers for EXISTING powers as they apply to Han Cluster. Remember these aren't quite final yet! We look forward to backer feedback from YOU before we finalize them, and we have a brand new google form for this FINAL round of feedback for you.

As we said, we'll be finalizing the print files over the next couple weeks and getting ready to publish all digital products for sale to the public on DriveThruRPG. If you haven't received your digital rewards yet through DTRPG, PLEASE LET US KNOW. When everything is finalized you'll get a full set of final digital files through the Backerkit digital reward system (but ONLY if you've filled out your surveys!) and your existing DriveThru products will be updated in your account with the final files.

Thanks to ALL of you who helped with backer feedback for the sourcebook and archetype cards. You're comments have been incorporated and have made the book that much better. Thank you! The final sourcebook will be released when we've finalized all our digital files for final release.

NOTE: Those of you who added the Transcendence Adventure Book or Campaign Cards as add-ons via the surveys or via pre-order won't receive those rewards until we finalize the digital files and charge your credit cards in late June. This round of feedback is only for those who backed the original pledge tiers.

Almost 90% of you have filled out your surveys!  For those of you who haven't, please fill them out as soon as possible. We plan to lock the surveys to any changes (except for shipping addresses) once our digital rewards are finalized and we're ready to send everything to the printer. This will likely happen on or around June 23rd with credit cards for outstanding orders charged shortly afterwards. We'll remind you before that happens, and if you don't have your survey filled out in the next two weeks or so, we'll start reaching out to you individually to remind you and offer any help you might need.

Our third and final round of backer feedback will begin on approximately June 9th (subject to change based on random happenings). Round three will be all the digital cards we unlocked as stretch goals. We plan to finalize all files that are to be printed at the end of June and send them off to be manufactured. It's an exciting time!

Things are moving along as anticipated so far, and once again we want to thank all of YOU for your support and enthusiasm. This book has literally been many years in the making we are very proud of the work we've done on it.  It is truly the heart of the Han Cluster setting.

As the prophecy foretold, our first round of backer feedback has come to an end! I closed the form for the sourcebook this morning, and glanced at all the amazing comments. THANK YOU SO MUCH to those of you who took the time and effort to do that. I know it's a lot of work, and we really appreciate it. Your enthusiasm and attentiveness will make the book better! 

More than that, we've gotten an amazing reaction to the book so far, with positive comments coming in from discord and private communications. THANK YOU for that. We LOVE to hear it, and it makes us feel like we just might have accomplished our goal in creating this unique setting. 

Thank you to everyone who has filled out their backer survey! As of this writing, about 87% of you have completed them, and we're very grateful for that! We are aiming for 100% as soon as possible, so if you HAVEN'T filled out your survey yet, it's very easy!

If you lost the email or need to have it sent again, you can request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://han-cluster.backerkit.com/.

Please fill the survey out even if you are a digital only backer, as it allows us to tick all our boxes on this end for final reward delivery.  It really is just a couple of questions and will take you less than 5 minutes. You do NOT need to be logged in. Just click the custom link in the email you received. Remember, surveys will be locked in mid to late June, with credit cards for add-ons and taxes charged shortly after that (we'll remind you). As another reminder, shipping for physical products will be charged later when we're close to sending out the printed books, cards, and maps (we'll remind you of that too when the time comes).

We are still awaiting the Transcendence adventure book to come back from our fantastic editor, Jodi Black, which we anticipate should be very soon. That puts us on track for the release of the adventure book and campaign cards for backer feedback on May 26th or so!  It's not a hard date, because delays can always happen for any number of reasons, but we're fairly confident at this point. Then we'll have a brand new google form just for the adventure book and campaign cards for any backer feedback you might have for us. Like the sourcebook, the feedback period will last two weeks.

After that, we'll be doing all we need to do on this end to finalize the files to send to the printer, so we can get that ball rolling as soon as possible. Shortly after that, we'll release the "Core Cards" (a.k.a. all of the digital stretch goals we unlocked) for our FINAL round of backer feedback. Since those will not be printed products, they are a lower priority because of the need to get started on the print run process, but we still anticipate getting those to you in early to mid-June.

We just finished the layouts of the printed covers for the books and maps, and we think they're quite beautiful. We thought we'd show off the low-res versions of them here.

Hi everyone! All the logistical background financial maneuvering has been completed, and we are ready to send out backer surveys along with the first round of digital rewards for backer feedback!

PLEASE read everything below VERY CAREFULLY, so that you know what you need to do next, and the planned timeline of events going forward!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a unique link to YOUR BackerKit survey. A few of you will receive it today, and most of you will receive it in the next day or so. It’s VERY important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information not only to fulfill your rewards but to check the boxes on our end and make sure we've completed everything.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and, if you like, purchase add-on items. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys in June (see below).

As we said during the campaign, due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shortly before PHYSICAL fulfillment (probably right at the beginning of next year) when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers' rewards. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed all along the way!

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. After surveys are sent, if you did not receive the email, and you Signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. Those who backed the original campaign will be getting the first round of digital files TODAY! These are beta versions for backer feedback and will only be given to those who backed during the campaign. Any add-ons purchased in the survey and pre-orders from the Pre-Order store (now open!) will not be sent until the digital files are finalized in late June. APPROX. MAY 26TH: ROUND TWO OF BACKER FEEDBACK
The Han Cluster Transcendence Adventure book, and Campaign Cards:
The adventure book is currently undergoing final proof editing. As soon as it's done, it and the campaign cards (Summit ally cards, Shift Intensity cards, and asset cards) will be released (hopefully shortly after the feedback period for Round One ends) to original campaign backers. A new google form will be provided and again, you'll have two weeks to let us know about any issues you might find.

APPROX. JUNE 9TH: ROUND THREE OF BACKER FEEDBACK
The Han Cluster "Core" Cards (a.k.a. ALL PDF stretch goals):
These include the vehicle cards, adversary cards, status cards, Edge cards and power cards, and will be released (to original campaign backers) after the feedback period for Round Two ends. A new google form will be provided and again, you'll have two weeks to give us any issues you might find.

APPROX. JUNE 23RD: SURVEY'S CLOSE
We will be closing the surveys, locking orders and charging credit cards for any extra add-ons, etc. in mid to late June when we anticipate the FINALIZED (v1.0) digital rewards will be available. After we close the surveys you will generally not be able to change your orders because we will be getting ready to release these FINAL digital files to ALL purchasers, including those who took add-ons during surveys, and those ordered in the pre-order store. Again, we will send an update later for more details about this a few days before we close the surveys to give you a chance to finalize everything. Either way, please don't wait! Fill out your survey as soon as possible to ensure that you get all your rewards! You can always come back and change things later before we lock them.

APPROX JUNE 30TH: ALL FINAL DIGITAL FILES ARE RELEASED AND PUT UP FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC
Once all backers and those who ordered in the pre-order store get their final digital files, the digital products for Han Cluster will be placed up for sale publicly on Drive Thru RPG.  The pre-order store will also remain open indefinitely.

BEYOND....
After all that, we have a long wait (several months) until physical goods arrive. You will always be able to go back into pledge manager to change your address, even after we lock the orders and close the surveys. We'll update you as we go to keep you apprised of printing status, and of course, when we're ready to charge for shipping, but this gets us through the digital portion of our show. More to come!

Again, please fill out your surveys as SOON AS POSSIBLE. It only takes a couple minutes, and its very easy, but it allows us to tick a VERY important box on our end and avoids us having to chase anyone down to get them filled out later. :D
